# Booking & Cancellation Policy

## 1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when:- Full payment has been received by Rich Vacation Travel Limited via our Hong Kong entity.- A booking confirmation email has been issued to the client, including the licensed Mainland China tour operator (“Operator”) details.

## 2. Cancellation by Client
Refunds are **subject to recovery from the Operator**.  We will process your refund within **30 days after receipt** of funds from the Operator.
**Tiered Refund Schedule:**
| Cancellation Notice Period | Refund Amount ||----------------------------|---------------|| ≥ 60 days before departure | 100% of package price minus 10% administrative fee || 30–59 days before departure| 50% of package price || < 30 days before departure | No refund |
**Administrative Fee:** Covers bank charges, currency conversion costs, and handling. It is non‑refundable.

## 3. Cancellation by Operator
If the Operator cancels due to **force majeure** (including but not limited to natural disasters, PRC government restrictions, pandemics, or border closures), we will seek a full refund from the Operator and pass it to you upon receipt.  No additional compensation will be payable.

## 4. Changes to Itinerary
The Operator may alter itineraries due to local conditions, safety concerns, or regulatory requirements.  No refunds will be issued for such changes unless the Operator agrees to a partial refund.

## 5. Visa Denials
No refunds will be issued for visa denials, entry refusals, or incomplete travel documents.  Clients are solely responsible for ensuring visa eligibility prior to booking.

## 6. Currency Fluctuations
Refund amounts will be based on the actual funds recovered from the Operator in the original payment currency.  We are not responsible for losses due to exchange rate fluctuations.

## 7. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.  The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except matters arising solely from on‑ground service delivery in Mainland China, which fall under PRC jurisdiction.
